Share the Joy Pet Photography of Lafayette is teaming up with the Contra Costa Humane Society on Friday, November 16th to collect dog and cat food for needy families so they can keep their pets in their loving homes and out of shelters. Share the Joy Photography is holding 15 minute mini studio sessions for pets for $50 and a 30 pound bag of dog or cat food. All food is donated to the Contra Costa County Humane Society’s AniMeals Program where in conjunction with local food banks, food is distributed to needy families so they can keep their pets fed and in their homes. Participants receive a beautiful 5x7 print and web sized digital file.  All participants will receive a 20% off coupon from Pet Food Express in Lafayette! What a wonderful program! Mt. Diablo Veterinary Medical Center and Hill's Pet Nutrition have teamed up with Meals on Wheels and Senior Outreach Services to provide dog food to needy seniors. Hill's Pet Nutrition is generously donating bags of Hill's Healthy Advantage pet food to low-income seniors in Contra Costa County. Hill’s is matching every bag of Healthy Advantage pet food purchased at the Medical Center. Food will be distributed to needy seniors in the Friendly Visitors Program of Meals on Wheels and Senior Outreach Services.
